Here you will find a selection of recent professional and personal projects, and my efforts to make the world a more joyful and greener place. My designs start by addressing the nuanced goals of visual communication, and understanding the viewer’s experience. I then execute with a sharp eye for detail, a bit of romantic fantasy, and a good dose of clever wit.
In conjunction with the Environmental Protection Agency, research was compiled based around a climate and species group. Striking animal bodies are stylized from piles of trash, surrounded by harsh fact, but lightened by simple solutions plus an opportunity to learn more.
This exploration is a celebration of the iconic gaming console of the early 2000s, the fun aesthetic of Nintendo heavily influenced my take on wholesome, bright, loud, yet thoughtful design.

I enjoy working in a variety of digital and analogue mediums, including acrylic & watercolor paint, ink, graphite, pencil, relief print, and etching.
It is a necessary ritual to flesh out new ideas in a sketchbook, on scratch paper, in the sand, wherever is handy. Over the years, i’ve documented the process work for many projects that later developed into more complex iterations, these are a few examples of some seedling thoughts.
In partnership with Global Inheritance, this project was an opportunity to re-imagine, among few select artists a recycle bin for the 2016 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival.
My take is a celebration of the natural beauty of the desert, each side of the bin depicting a season and time of day. The big colorful sky is topped by a living planter, overflowing with succulents that need very little care and thrive in the hot desert climate. Recyclers toss their cans into the opening of a saguaro cactus made from PVC and old soda bottles.
As the Social Media Coordinator for Nordstrom at Brea, I revived the online presence of the store and increased customer engagement online and in-store with new trends, designer spotlights, and special events.
I crafted posts from start to finish, including product selection, styling, model direction, photography, editing, app usage, and media analytics.
Serious issues become approachable under vibrant jewel tones, an etherial glow, and urgent atmospheric music. This 30 second video is presented with simplified straightforward fact, finished off with realistic goals for change.
The aesthetic goal for this project was to highlight the outward beauty of earth from a holistic vantage point that most don’t get to experience. The "pale blue dot” is abstracted, as is the swirling galaxy around it.
